How do we come together? What holds us together? And what remains when the structures we rely on gradually disappear? Where Do We Meet is a choreographic work for five performers exploring the changing architecture of human relationships. Bodies, objects and space continuously influence one another, forming temporary systems of orientation that emerge, shift and disappear again. Familiar situations arise, lose their balance and rearrange themselves into ever-new constellations.
Rather than understanding movement as predetermined choreography, the work develops through processes of perception, response and adaptation. Relationships are constantly renegotiated – between proximity and distance, rhythm and hesitation, individuality and community. Every encounter leaves a trace. Every action changes the conditions for what comes next.
The stage becomes a living, ever-changing landscape in which stability is only a fleeting moment and change becomes the very condition of being. Where points of orientation disappear, new possibilities for connection emerge. Without a linear narrative or a definitive resolution, Where Do We Meet invites the audience to experience living together as an ongoing process. Rather than asking where we meet, the performance asks under what conditions an encounter becomes possible at all.
